The Raytheon Operations & Supply Chain (OSC) organization within the Radio Frequency Solutions (RFS) Sub-Strategic Business Unit (sSBU) is looking for an Associate Director, Supply Chain Management (SCM) in support of the RFS Fire Control Radar Products portfolio. The candidate will be responsible for leading a diverse team and managing a dynamic and complex supply chain organization. They will lead the Supply Chain personnel assigned to the program areas and are responsible for developing and executing supply chain strategies and plans for capture/proposal efforts, international pursuits, & program execution within the portfolio. The position requires an individual who will be able to exert influence on overall objectives and long-range goals of the product lines and their Program Management offices. This position involves direct management of MPMs, supporting manufacturing activities and requires spending time in the Forest CMC, Forest, MS, McKinney CMC, McKinney, TX factories. The ideal candidate will possess the demonstrated skills and experience necessary to perform in technical, program and supply chain leadership roles. Successful candidate will drive the overall management and participation in all phases of program development from capture and proposals through development, execution, and close-out. This position will be available onsite in either Forest, MS or McKinney, TX.

What You Will Do

  • Accountable for supply chain cost, schedule, and quality

  • Managing the coordination and execution of program schedules with Program Management, Operations, Subcontracts, Engineering, and other functional areas to support on time delivery.

  • Managing MPMs supporting the RFS Fire Control Radar Products portfolio of programs

  • Develop and execute supply chain strategies and utilize CORE best practices.

  • Lead the effort to develop and implement cost reduction initiatives for both recurring efforts and new business opportunities.

  • Manage, develop, and lead SC proposal activities including task descriptions and basis of estimates that align with Program strategies

  • Generate Material Program Plans (MPP), make/where plans, and write sections of technical proposals

  • Interfaces with Customers to understand needs and issues and ensure that the customers receive satisfactory standards of service

  • Coordinate & develop SC requirements for all gate reviews & execute proposed strategies from early gate reviews for effective implementation in future production

  • Overall ownership of the Supplier Management process (i.e., Supplier Risk/Opportunity Management Plan, MRP Health, supplier performance, Small Business plan development and execution, metrics, EXIM compliance, terms and conditions

  • Implement and drive process improvements that result in a healthy value chain for development and production programs

    Qualifications You Must Have

  • Typically requires a Bachelor’s and a minimum of twelve (12) years prior relevant experience, or an Advance Degree in a related field and a minimum of ten (10) years’ experience.

  • Supervisory or managerial experience

  • Experience in proposals, negotiations, and or budget management.

  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.

    Qualifications We Prefer

  • Strong Program Management skills

  • Previous program manufacturing experience in a DoD environment

  • Knowledge of US Government acquisition laws and regulations

  • Experience working with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) / Material Resource Planning (MRP) systems, including but not limited to SAP, Kinaxis, PRISM/CMES

  • EVMS L2 certification or ability to learn.

  • CORE/Six Sigma and continuous improvement experience

  • Strong business acumen with budget and schedule responsibility

  • Experience and interest in verbal/visual presentations of supply chain activities, plans, tasks, and/or delivery outlooks and program-level information to internal and USG Customers.

  • Experience with Technical Data Package (TDP) reviews and approval via common product data management (PDM)

  • Experience with transition of programs from design to manufacturing

  • Ability to lead collaborative teams on tactical and strategic discussions to drive results and break down barriers.

  • Experience developing and executing competitive bids and proposals through collaboration with multiple manufacturing and functional teams

  • Experience leading teams in cost reduction initiatives

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.

The salary range for this role is 128,000 USD - 258,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.
