WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

The Dispatcher is a key position in our Fontana Branch.

You will be involved in a high level of communication between sales staff and customers to achieve efficient coordination of deliveries. As a dispatcher, you will comply with all safety programs including federal, state and DOT (Department of Transportation).

A highlight of your day-to-day will include:

• Directing activities related to dispatching, routing, and tracking transportation vehicles. Ensures deliveries are made on time and according to schedule. Notifies customers with deviations to schedule. Manages employees including but not limited to interviewing, hiring, training, planning, assigning, and directing work, motivating, evaluating, rewarding and disciplining employees. Plans and prepares work schedules and assigns employees to specific duties. Provides weekly toolbox talks.

• Ensuring proper DOT record keeping per DOT standards. Ensures drivers are completing daily inspection reports and deficient items are repaired in a timely manner.

• Developing positive relationships with customers while scheduling loads. Listens to and resolves customer complaints regarding services, products, or personnel.

• Scheduling the delivery of all products to job sites in a timely and efficient manner, which may include calling customers or job sites to schedule loads. Contacts an approved outside line hauler for flatbed loads as required. Assists in periodic cost checks against other haulers.

Salary Range : The compensation range for this position is specific to the location(s) noted above and is the range Jensen Precast reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for the position. We consider the wide variety of factors in making compensation decisions, including job-related knowledge; skillset; experience, education and training; certifications; and other relevant business and organizational factors.

Additional Compensation and Benefits : Jensen Precast offers various competitive benefits, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability insurance, PTO, and 401k. The successful candidate may also be eligible to participate in Lucid’s annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing such programs. (Incentive awards, if any, will depend on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and company performance.)

Base Pay Range (Annual)

$60,000—$80,000 USD.
