As a consultant within the Pricing & Contracting group, the Strategic Pricing Sr Analyst is responsible for maintaining the accuracy and execution of pricing and contracting activities. You will partner with management to review strategy and carry out the associated action items for the business. You will insure maintenance of process and compliance.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with Regional Sales Directors (RSD’s) and Corporate Account Directors (CAD’s) to assist with deal modeling, comprehensive contract management and decision support to maximize revenue growth and profitability.

  • Serve in a support role for large-scale national Requests for Proposals (RFPs) across the Cordis portfolio, with responsibilities including critical financial modeling/analytics, and assistance in the development and coordination of RFP responses.

  • Monitor compliance to corporate or national account purchasing contracts. Responsible for analyzing proposed contracts and pricing alternatives

  • Review expiring contracts and evaluate pricing modifications monthly

  • Create quarterly analysis of price drivers, trends, and market insights

  • Analyze and monitor pricing performance to determine if pricing strategies should be refined to optimize growth and mitigate impacts to our portfolio

  • Work cross-functionally with sales, legal, finance and marketing to ensure effective workflow throughout the contract lifecycle and consistent process execution

  • Support implementation of best practices, processes, and tools to ensure effective workflow throughout the contract lifecycle, consistent process execution and unified approaches that maximizes sales support execution, quality, effectiveness, efficiency, and productivity.

  • Collaborate with other members of the Pricing and Contracts team and contract consultants to meet team goals and objectives

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree and equivalent work experience Contracting or related field is required

  • 4-6+ years of related experience in roles such as Contracts Analyst, Sales/Marketing Analyst

  • Must be a quick learner and possess excellent written, oral, and presentation skills.

  • Strong analytical and organization skills

  • Customer service skills, which include the ability to gather feedback, display a sense of urgency, make recommendations, follow-up, and follow through to deliver timely solutions

  • Proficiency to synthesize and clearly present large amounts of complex data

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, manage conflicting priorities, and meet deadlines.

  • Ability to manage high volume and effectively balance workload

  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel, Access, Word, and PowerPoint

  • Must be able to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Understanding of the medical device marketplace and a working knowledge of the vascular space (cardiovascular or endovascular) or medical devices, especially Class III medical devices or implantable device

  • The capacity to work in a team environment and manage projects accordingly
