JBT Corporation Manual Machinist in Florida, United States

Overview JBT Diversified Food & Healthis a prime solutions and equipment provider within the fruit and vegetable industry segment. This position will work at the JBT facility in Lakeland, Florida. Responsibilities Manufacture components in accordance with routing, work order, verbal and written instructions, prints sketches, charts, tables and other information relative to the work at hand. Operate a variety of machining equipment (lathe, mill and drill), manual and CNC. Perform job set up requirements. Perform required shop arithmetic including decimals and fractions. Ability to use judgment to perform and make decisions as to the sequence of setups, operations, and processes within the limitations of recognized or standard methods and procedures. Use precision measuring instruments to ensure proper fit of components. Perform self inspection and test of parts upon completion of jobs. Attend all required site Safety Training sessions. Comply with all JBT safety policies and guidelines.
