BASF's Professional Development Programs (PDPs) were created to provide highly motivated, mobile-minded current university students an opportunity to enhance their professional and leadership skills through a variety of diverse learning experiences. Participants will contribute to real-world rotational assignments within different domestic locations. They will explore career options and develop technical and professional decision-making skills, while fulfilling specific business needs. Participants will have the opportunity to assess their capabilities, skills, and interests and gain valuable exposure to BASF's culture, values, and decision-makers.

Program Summary:
APPLICATION IS AVAILABLE TO STUDENTS RECEIVING A BACHELOR’S OR MASTER’S DEGREE IN CHEMICAL ENGINEERING BETWEEN MAY 2024 - JULY 2025.
As a highly motivated rising graduate, you will participate in a 24-month cross-functional program with three, eight-month rotations in various technical areas, including: Manufacturing/Operations, Corporate Engineering, Ecology and Safety, Maintenance, and Research and Development (R&D)
Your ability to be mobile will be critical, as US locations include, but are not limited to: Michigan, North Carolina, Texas, Louisiana.
Successfully engaging across the business, you will be exposed to the leadership, technical, and scientific aspects of plant engineering, while also working in areas of safety and environment to uphold our high standards.
Upon your completion of the program, you may be offered direct placement within the organization in a variety of disciplines in engineering and production.
Potential start dates are June and August of 2025

Formula for Success...
Upcoming or recent graduates receiving a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering between May 2024 – July 2025
Demonstrated academic achievement (minimum GPA 3.2)
Authorization to work in the U.S. now and in the future without restrictions or future sponsorship
Commitment to relocate anywhere in the U.S. during and upon place off from the program.
All assignments are in-person/hybrid Demonstrated previous leadership experience & academic achievement
Active participation in extra-curricular activities and on-campus organizations
Bilingual is a plus
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Outstanding work ethic and leadership potential
Previous internship/co-op experience is a plus
Project management experience is a plus

Pay Transparency
BASF is committed to pay transparency practices. The competitive Pay Range for this role is $88,000 - $97,000 . Actual pay will be determined based on education, certifications, experience, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
