Company Urgently Hiring Industrial Electrician - 3rd Shift

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Industrial Electrician for our 3rd shift. The ideal candidate will be adept at identifying electrical problems, inspecting and installing electrical components, and repairing or replacing wiring and fixtures. This role requires reading blueprints or technical diagrams before performing work and demonstrating the ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Identify electrical problems with a variety of testing devices.

• Inspect and install electrical components, such as transformers and circuit breakers.

• Repair or replace wiring, equipment, or fixtures.

• Read blueprints or technical diagrams before performing work.

• Speak, read, and write English.

• Solve practical problems with initiative and independence.

Essential Skills

• Strong electrical aptitude.

• Ability to troubleshoot motor control circuits and high voltage systems.

• Proficiency in preventive maintenance and conduit installation.

• Experience with electrical schematics and PLC troubleshooting.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.

• Industrial experience is a plus.

• Good communication and computer skills are advantageous.

• Detail-oriented and effective use of time.

• Safety-oriented mindset.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Florham Park, New Jersey.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $36.00/hr.
