We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Staff Accountant in Florence, South Carolina. This role is instrumental in the organization as you will be handling various accounting and financial responsibilities.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee company credit cards to ensure proper utilization and management.

• Engage in the reconciliation of balance sheets for accurate financial reporting.

• Participate in the annual corporate audit process to ensure compliance and accuracy.

• Assist in the maintenance and improvement of the ERP system to enhance data integrity and reporting capabilities.

• Handle the reconciliation of Inventory and WIP GL accounts to subsidiary ledgers for accurate record keeping.

• Aid in the monthly and yearly close processes, ensuring adherence to GAAP.

• Manage the fixed asset maintenance process to ensure accurate record keeping.

• Be responsible for the daily maintenance of cash activity worksheets.

• Support in the accounts receivable and payable process as needed.

• Review monthly shipments and close jobs accordingly, ensuring all tasks are completed within the set timeframe.

Requirements • Proficient in Accounts Payable (AP) operations, with the ability to effectively manage and process invoices

• Demonstrable expertise in handling Accounts Receivable (AR), including invoicing, collections, and revenue recognition

• Experience in performing Bank Reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy and transparency

• Proficient in maintaining and managing the General Ledger, including posting and reviewing entries

• Ability to prepare and record Journal Entries for business transactions

• Experience in performing Month End Close procedures, including the preparation of financial reports and statements.
