Quality Control Coordinator is responsible to oversee and supervise the stacking and packaging operations of the truss and wall manufacturing departments. The QC Coordinators will use the packaging application of MVP or Shopnet for marking job batches complete, provide quality control assistance and inspection at the end of the lines, and maintain the organization of jobs in the process to ensure built 100%. This individual will provide the last inspection for QC procedures already practiced and in place.

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS

• Use the company-supplied tablets to record production events on a timely basis.

• Use due care in operating and safeguarding the tablet from damage.

• Adhere to all Pulte IT policies when using company tablets.

• Check off units of production as they are built and ensure proper packaging procedures and standards are maintained.

• Take pictures of all bundle stacks after banding clearly showing all labels, markings, and production numbers, as best as possible.

• Provide updates on a timely basis through electronic media Inspect products for uniformity, and quality, and report flaws.

• Inform the line leader or production manager of any irregularities.

• Maintain proper PPE and report any PPE violations of others to the Line leader or production manager.

• Direct forklift driver to stack bundle in an assigned yard location.

• In addition to the above assistance should always be given where needed to other team members as well as adhering to all company policies and safety practices.

• Quality Control Coordinator- Panel:

• The quality control coordinator will ensure Jobs are completed 100%

• Check all aspects of quality and ensure compliance.

• Will assist production managers to supervise packaging operations ensuring durability, and confirming markings are correct on each component batch/bundle. Will also assist in inventory control, and yard management and photograph each batch/bundle assure all components are built, marked, and deliverable.

• Forklift license

• Ability to use a tablet to operate MVP, Shopnet, Appwright, and Excel

• Some experience in the assembly of wall panels/trusses and other components

• Attention to detail with the ability to focus on quality, completeness, and adherence to process.

• Ability to learn and direct others in the proper packaging procedures.

• Ability and discipline to ensure the end-to-end process is executed on a daily basis.

REQUIRED EDUCATION

• Forklift Certification
