The Production Manager is responsible for managing production for a particular department or group within the Manufacturing organization. The Production Manager organizes, plans, and executes schedules, supervises employees, and oversees training, staffing and resource utilization.• Plan, schedule, design and assign work for employees. Monitor daily work schedules.• Manage staffing requirements to meet production demands. Provide feedback to Product Line management.• Provide equipment and supplies needed to ensure efficient, safe, and orderly work progress.• Participate in CAPEX projects.• Monitor routine preventive maintenance to minimize downtime.• Enable proper training for employees.• Identify improvement opportunities; implement LEAN principles.• Monitor and enforce manufacturing, quality, health, safety, and environment (HSE) standards. Implement and monitor key performance indicators for Production, Quality and HSE teams.• Use the guiding principles and tools of the Manufacturing System to drive continuous improvement, wherever applicable.MINIMUM EDUCATION: Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or related.MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: 3 years’ experience with supply chain, design engineering, maintenance, injection molding, fixture design, thermal screen stretching, production release process, HSE and facility 5S standards.
