Jabil is adding Test Engineers to our team in Northern Kentucky who will directly contribute to the transformative growth within our Advanced Compute division by applying unique and innovative approaches to developing end customer product solutions. The Test Engineering team is responsible for managing hardware testing, failure analysis, and providing debugging expertise for various Advanced Compute Platforms. You will also be responsible for partnering and collaborating with customers, strategic suppliers, internal engineering, program management, manufacturing, and quality teams to ensure your products meet the rigorous standards and performance expectations of Jabils world-class manufacturing environments and our customers.
SUMMARY
Under limited supervision, the Test Engineer I designs, develops and maintains test procedures, tester hardware and software for electronic circuit board production, in a server manufacturing environment. Utilize failure analysis techniques to identify root causes of issues. Identify, diagnose, and resolve hardware and software issues during testing and integration process. Develop and maintain scripts to automate testing processes, collect and analyze data, contribute to continuous improvement, and evaluate system performance and functionality for new and sustaining AI/ML and GPGPU and hardware accelerator-based server and storage platforms.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Evaluate circuit board designs to ensure compliance with testability requirements.
Support manufacturing operations by conducting failure analysis, debugging test systems, and reducing intermittent failures and equipment downtime.
Develop testing procedures and documentation for use throughout the product lifecycle, from design through initial production.
Generate detailed test data reports, including analyses and actionable recommendations.
Collaborate with customers to review test equipment designs, resolve data issues, and address RMA concerns.
Lead the design and oversee the fabrication of testing apparatus and control equipment by engineering and technical personnel.
Coordinate engineering activities for the development, procurement, installation, and calibration of testing instruments and control devices.
Establish testing conditions, sequences, and operational phases for test processes.
Manage and oversee operational, functional, and performance aspects of test procedures.
Perform complex testing assignments for both standard and custom devices.
Analyze test data, generate insights, and prepare technical reports for use by engineering and management teams.
Develop and utilize computer software and hardware for testing machinery and equipment.
Maintain and improve testing techniques in alignment with established ISO and QS standards.
Provide training and guidance to production testing staff on new procedures.
Adhere to all company safety and health regulations.
Follow all procedures within the companys security policies.
Perform additional duties as assigned by the supervisor.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's of Science in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science from an accredited four-year college or university. MS preferred.
One to two years' experience in a hardware product development environment, preferably with enterprise server, storage or networking products.
Expertise with Linux and Linux Shell; capable of training technicians on Linux / Linux Shell basics.
Demonstrate the ability to apply principles of statistical analysis: collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data to make data-driven decisions.
Intermediate understanding of Bash and Python programming.
Display strong understanding of computer/server hardware concepts, functionality, and integration.
Experience working in a multi-site and multi-cultural environments.
Proven ability to work within a fast-paced and highly ambiguous business environment.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
