Multiple Shifts available with Shift Differential!
Shift 401 - Mon-Wed shift with alternating Thurs Hours 6:00am-6pm
Shift 402 - Mon-Wed shift with alternating Thurs Hours 6:00pm-6am
Shift 403 - Thursday- Sunday (Day Shift)
Shift 404 - Thursday- Sunday (Night Shift)
How will you make an impact?
As an Assistant Inventory Control Supervisor, you will take ownership of monitoring inventory levels, ensuring traceability, and identifying root causes of discrepancies. Your role will involve implementing solutions to improve accuracy and efficiency while supporting inventory-related functions across the organization.
What will you do?
Inventory Monitoring & Accuracy:
Track all material transactions within assigned areas.
Identify, investigate, and resolve inventory discrepancies.
Determine root causes of errors and recommend solutions to prevent recurrence.
Perform regular component cycle counts to ensure accuracy.
Process Improvement & Reporting:
Propose and implement process changes to enhance inventory control.
Assist in developing and executing materials management systems to improve efficiency.
Perform inventory transactions and reporting within customer systems when required.
Operational Support:
Work cross-functionally with supervisors, engineering, program management, and other departments to resolve inventory challenges.
Minimize manufacturing downtime related to inventory shortages or inaccuracies.
Provide backup support for inventory control personnel and assist with material handling as needed.
Compliance & Safety:
Ensure adherence to all safety and health regulations.
Comply with company security policies and procedures.
Other Responsibilities:
Perform additional duties as assigned to support department objectives.
How will you get here?
Education & Experience:
Relevant experience in inventory control, materials management, or a related field.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
Strong analytical skills to identify and resolve inventory discrepancies.
Ability to work with data, perform cycle counts, and maintain accurate records.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and inventory management software.
Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Ability to work flexible hours, including overtime, as needed.
