DESCRIPTION
We are looking for a talented Accountant to join our team in Fletcher, NC.
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
Accurate Financial Reporting : By analyzing, recording, and reporting accounting transactions promptly, you’ll ensure the financial data is accurate and up-to-date, aiding in better decision-making.
Efficient General Ledger Management : Preparing general ledger entries and account reconciliations will help maintain the integrity of financial records, ensuring they are balanced and accurate.
Responsive Communication : Addressing inquiries from management, auditors, and other stakeholders will foster transparency and trust, ensuring that financial results and special reports are clearly understood.
Confidentiality and Security : Protecting the organization’s value by keeping information confidential will safeguard sensitive financial data, maintaining the company’s integrity and compliance.
Fixed Asset Management : Managing fixed assets from CIP to retirement, including conducting site inventories, will ensure accurate tracking and valuation of the company’s assets.
Finance Systems Integration : Leveraging your experience with finance systems integrations will streamline processes and improve the efficiency of financial operations.
Multi-Business Unit Oversight : Handling multiple balance sheets and business centers will provide a comprehensive view of the company’s financial health, enabling better resource allocation and strategic planning.
ERP Platform Proficiency : Utilizing your experience with Oracle or similar ERP platforms will enhance the accuracy and efficiency of financial data management, supporting overall business operations.

US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles - Evaluates US accounting standards to record transactions in compliance with requirements and company policies; assesses the accounting requirements and objectives to determine the implications on the business and communicate to stakeholders with varying financial knowledge.
Education, Licenses, Certifications:
College, university, or equivalent degree in Accounting, Finance or related field required.
Experience:
Minimal relevant professional work experience in the field of study required.
QUALIFICATIONS
Additional Responsibilities:
Responsible for fixed assets from CIP to Retirement, including coordinating and conducting site fixed asset inventories
Prior experience working with finance systems integrations
Multiple BC responsibility
Pervious Oracle, or similar, ERP platform experience is a plus
Experienced with managing multiple balance sheets is preferred
