Position Summary

Provides quality nursing care through the application of the nursing process using evidence based practice focusing on excellent outcomes and patient experience within the framework of Shared Governance.

• Nurse Director

• Supervises (position(s):

• Indirect supervision of Patient Care Assistant, Patient Care Technician, Nurse Intern, Unit Coordinator, Patient Safety Assistant

  Qualifications

Minimum Education:

• Required:

• All hires after September 1, 2020 are required to have a Bachelor's Degree in nursing.

• Preferred:

  Minimum Years of Experience (Amount, Type and Variation):

• Required:

• None

• Preferred:

• One year of acute care nursing experience.

  License, Registry or Certification:

• Required:

• Current NJ RN licensure. American Heart Association CPR, ACLS certification.

• Preferred:

• PCCN or related specialty certification.

  Knowledge, Skills and/or Abilities:

• Required:

• Complete Critical Care, Vents and stroke training within one year of hire. Basic arrhythmia Interpretation completed within 6 months of hire.
