Hunterdon Health Care System OR Equipment Technician in Flemington, New Jersey

Position Summary

Responsible for pre-op and post-op case preparation including case picking for all surgical procedures. Provides equipment, supplies and furniture for cases as needed as part of room preparation.

Primary Position Responsibilities

  • Facilitate both urgent and scheduled case preparation

  • Place/remove equipment from surgical rooms

  • Identify critical items to case needs and escalate as appropriate

  • Collaborate with biomedical engineering to facilitate equipment repairs

  • Communication with purchasing, OR Director, and vendors to ensure items received for case

  • Other duties as assigned
