Court Technician

The Coconino County Clerk of the Superior Court is seeking a Court Technician. The ideal candidate will be adaptable and good at multi-tasking. The candidate will possess the ability to listen and take quick but detailed notes while possibly performing other tasks, such as completing paperwork, with accuracy. The candidate must also be adaptable to changing schedules and procedures for different case types and judges. Previous experience and/or understanding of Arizona legal processes is a plus. Minimum Qualifications: Two years experience in a business environment or training in business procedures; must have keyboarding skills of 50 words per minute and take dictation (by shorthand or speed writing) at 60 words per minute and/or have experience with digital recording equipment; or any equivalent combination of education, training and experience which demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position. Preferred Qualifications: Court or legal experience.
