This is a dual-role position. The primary function is working at the front desk, handling check-in/check-out, collecting copayments, obtaining patient forms and insurance cards, and rescheduling follow-up appointments. This role will back up lab services at the site, which include vitals, injections, blood draws, and specimen collections.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Front Desk Functions:

  • Check in - check out patients

  • Collect Copayment from patients

  • Obtain registration forms

  • Schedule patients upon checkout or by telephone

  • Maintain provider schedules maintain provider schedules

  • Assist with referrals as needed

  • Handle refill requests

  • CMA Functions:

  • Checking vitals

  • Venipuncture

  • Injection Administration

  • Urine Drug Screen Processing

Required Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent

  • Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience working in a medical office

  • Proven ability to use computers & office equipment in a highly efficient manner

  • Proven excellent communication and interpersonal skills
