Position Summary: This position is responsible for coordinating and providing leadership to the warehouse staff and assisting in the daily activities.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Leads the warehouse staff during shift and provide training. Oversees supplies and ensures finished goods are rotated and stored accurately Ensures warehouse inventories of products and related supplies are maintained. Performs physical inventory assessments and verifies accuracy of received items Works with Warehouse Manager to ensure scheduling priorities to meet customer demands Builds DO’s, ship loads in system, cut seals and seal trailers and ensures accuracy in product shipment Maintains open communication with internal and external contacts regarding inventory of finished goods and other materials Partners with Warehouse Manager on aspects of human resource management including, performance management, training, and coaching within company policy and regulatory compliance. Provides for effective staff development according to requirement Ensures regular preventative maintenance procedures are followed, including daily housekeeping Actively engages team in activities to meet targets for safety, sanitation and warehousing/delivery of products Operates and promotes in accordance with health, safety, and fire prevention regulations and practices. Fill in for Warehouse Manager during vacation or absences Other duties, as assigned.

Education and Experience Required:

Must have a high school diploma or GED equivalent from an accredited institution 3+ years’ experience as a Forklift Operations Trainer 3+ years’ Leadership experience Previous forklift operation experience Must be able to work weekends, holidays and overtime as needed

Physical Requirements: Qualified candidates must be able to perform the following physical job requirements, with or without reasonable accommodation: Must be able to climb on and off a ladder for 3+ hours per shift Must be able to work in a dusty, high heat/humid environment for 3+ hours per shift Must be able to work in a confined space for 3+ hours per shift Must be able to lift up-to 100 pounds for 3+ hours per shift with team member assistance Must be able to push, pull, simple grasping, 3+ hours per shift Must be able to perform fine manipulation and feel for 6+ hours per shift Must be able to balance, bend, crouch, stoop and kneel for 3+ hours per shift Must be able to lift up-to 34 pounds independently for 6+ hours per shift Must be able to reach above shoulders for 3+ hours per shift Must be able to operate foot pedals for 6+ hours per shift Must be able to sit, stand, and walk for 6+ hours per shift Must be able to express or exchange ideas by means of spoken or written word and be able to make fine distinctions in sound Must be able to distinguish object or equipment visually
