Job Brief

The Human Resources Director will have an encompassing role and will collaborate with Central Human Resources to provide optimum employee/candidate experience across the CP continuum.

Pay range:

$75,000-$80,000

The Human Resources Director will have an encompassing role and will collaborate with Central Human Resources to provide optimum employee/candidate experience across the CP continuum on a diverse range of duties, including, but not limited to HRIS, compensation, workforce, performance management, compliance, benefits, leave management, wellness initiatives, special events etc. Some specific duties and responsibilities include:

  • Evaluating, managing and leading the day-to-day operations of the Hudson Valley HR office and HR team members to ensure continual efficiency and effectiveness.

  • Serving as subject matter expert to administer all HR functions to include, but not limited to compliance with statutory requirements, employee relations, performance management, workers' compensation and safety, and general leadership guidance and support.

  • Liaising and managing the end-to-end employee relations function including meeting with leadership and conducting investigations.

  • Collaborating with Central Human Resources to develop progressive programs which promote employee engagement and overall optimal employee experience.

  • Ensuring HR communication is consistent, transparent and frequent while also participating in leadership rounding to influence cadence that is inclusive, encompassing, compassionate and engaging.

  • Tracking HR metrics and analyzing data to provide insights and recommendations for continuous improvement in HR processes and practices.

  • Collaborating with managers to identify and clarify challenges and formulating and evaluating solutions to bring about an environment of change.

Requirements:

  • Strategic business partner, providing insight into trends and best practices so as to create and implement overall enhancements.

  • A minimum of 5 years’ progressive HR experience leading and managing a team.

  • A bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field.

  • SHRM or HRCI Certification preferred.

  • HRIS experience, preferably Oracle, along with proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills are essential to be successful in this role.
