Job Overview:

We are seeking a Project Manager to join our LFG Specialties manufacturing team, an APTIM company, in Findlay, OH. LFG is a leading supplier of gas processing equipment and combustion systems for the solid waste and petroleum industries. This position is onsite and will offer a competitive relocation package to the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities:

  • The successful candidate must have solid understanding of project management and will perform a wide variety of engineering tasks including review of client specifications, proposal writing, estimating, development of drawings, O&M manuals, and management of projects from concept through completion, including field start-up support.

  • Must be able to manage multiple projects at once and while maintaining project deadlines.

  • Monitors project safety and quality programs.

  • Plan, organize, coordinate, and control projects in accordance with established policies, procedures, and requirements.

  • Oversee project personnel on project team.

  • Support business development activities as needed

  • Be the company liaison to clients and ensure a solid client relationship is maintained

  • Provide technical expertise to project team whenever necessary

  • Will be responsible for maintaining project budgets

  • Use technical experience to serve as a change agent for process improvement within own area

  • Work with customers to understand their needs, ensuring solutions

  • Work collaboratively with internal team members to understand any business deadlines and adapt work priorities in own area to ensure those deadlines are met

  • Will be responsible for the budget of own area and must manage accordingly

Basic Qualifications:

  • BS degree in Mechanical Engineering with a minimum of 2 years of experience is preferred.

  • Must have in-depth knowledge and hands on experience in mechanical engineering and working knowledge of the related disciplines

  • Candidate must have a firm grasp of engineering principles and understand basic business principles including cost estimating and pricing.

  • Good inter-personal skills are required to interface with clients and internal personnel at all levels.

Desired/Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience with an original equipment manufacturer is preferred.

  • 2+ years of project management experience

  • 2+ years of experience in design and fabrication of gas handling equipment.

  • Experience with gas compression, treatment and combustion equipment related to natural gas.
