About the Position:

The Area Manager - Maintenance manages the Maintenance Technicians to maintain equipment reliability.

This position achieves the business goals of the Operation (including cost, quality, safety and delivery). This Associate will drive Business Center Strategies to the floor-level.

The incumbent will coach, develop and support Hourly Associates. He/She will hold Associates accountable for attainment of objectives.

Work Schedule: 2-2-3 work schedule on the night crew working 6pm-6am

Responsibilities:

• Safely maintain equipment to ensure product flow and quality delivery.

• Lead and promote Safety (in all aspects) in the plant.

• Lead adherence of all procedures, audits, practices and standard work within the operation.

• Develop employees and foster a team culture.

• Develop, maintain and provide continuous improvement in his/her team.

Education:

Bachelors degree in a Technical field or in lieu of degree 6 or more years of relevant work experience required

Experience:

• 1 + years of relevant work experience with a degree, 6+ years without a degree

• Manufacturing or Mlitary experience - Desired

• Experience in Tire Manufacturing Processes - Desired

• Experience with SAP Software preferred

Skills and Abilities:

• Ability to manage multiple tasks

• Strong Communication, Technical, Analytical and Problem-Solving skills

• Knowledge of Safety/Quality Procedures, Human Resource Policies and Budgeting

• Ability to lead Teams
