Description

Mechanical Design Build Firm in the Greater St. Louis area looking for a Tenured Mechanical Engineer for their growing team for design build and design bid build projects in the healthcare, office, retail and restaurant sectors. Projects are focused around the Greater St. Louis area. This person will be performing the following duties:

• Perform HVAC/mechanical design for design/build projects and run load calculations

• Drafting of HVAC/mechanical design in AutoCAD.

• BIM modeling of awarded projects.

• Approving and sealing design drawings.

• Estimating for HVAC design build projects by creating a conceptual HVAC/mechanical design based on existing conditions (if there are any) and the needs of the client then perform an estimate based on the design.

• Energy audit/analysis. Work with customers and utility companies to create a plan with possible incentives for the client if they upgrade their HVAC systems or controls systems.

• Project management of estimated project that are awarded.

• Commissioning services at completion of the project.

• Lead and continue to build the design team through training current staff as well as bringing on new members as needed.

Required Experience:

• at least 3 years of mechanical HVAC design experience

• commercial construction project experience such as office, healthcare, retail, restaurant etc.

• Proficient in load calculations for HVAC building systems

• Professional Engineer License

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $43.27 - $67.00/hr.
