Job Title: Facility Maintenance Technician

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Facility Maintenance Technician to service medical office and administration buildings. This role primarily covers SSM St. Clare's (Fenton, MO) and Mt. Vernon, IL campuses. The position operates Monday through Friday from 7 AM to 4 PM, with the requirement for on-call availability, which includes a $150 bonus and additional compensation for on-call work. The technician will be stationed at St. Clare's four days a week and Mt. Vernon one day a week.

Responsibilities

• Perform and assist other associates in the maintenance, repair, operation, and general upkeep of assigned properties.

• Respond to tenant requests regarding lighting, plumbing, and other building problems.

• Perform preventative maintenance tasks on building systems and components, including physical structures, plumbing, door hardware, electrical, and mechanical systems.

• Perform minor service, troubleshooting, and repair of building systems.

• Work with sub-contractors and vendors as needed.

• Assist other company departments as requested.

• Participate in all workplace safety training and comply with all safety policies and procedures, utilizing all required safety equipment.

• Identify and immediately mitigate any unsafe conditions or hazards, developing recommendations to remove or safeguard the hazard.

• Assist in responding to after-hours calls and emergency situations, performing tasks necessary for the well-being and protection of the property and tenants.

Essential Skills

• Minimum of 3 years of commercial maintenance experience

• Ability to work independently

• Ability to work at SSM St. Clare's and Mt. Vernon campuses

• Strong customer service skills and professional demeanor

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• HVAC certifications preferred

• Experience in electrical, plumbing, HVAC, repair, painting, carpentry, drywall, lighting, and boiler maintenance

• EPA Universal certification preferred

Work Environment

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $49920.00 - $62400.00
