Actalent Construction Manager in Fenton, Missouri

Job Title: Construction ManagerJob Description

We are seeking an experienced Construction Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in managing commercial and industrial construction projects, with a strong background in working with subcontractors and overseeing quality control.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, coordinate, and oversee construction projects from start to finish.

  • Develop and manage detailed project timelines, budgets, and work schedules.

  • Ensure all projects adhere to the established schedule and make adjustments as necessary to meet deadlines.

  • Manage relationships with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.

  • Ensure all work is completed to the highest quality standards and in compliance with safety regulations.

  • Monitor project progress and make adjustments as needed to ensure timely completion.

  • Conduct regular site inspections to ensure adherence to project specifications and quality standards.

  • Resolve any issues or conflicts that arise during the construction process.

  • Prepare and present project reports to stakeholders.

  • Oversee projects that include energy efficiency upgrades, ensuring they meet all relevant standards and regulations.

Essential Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management within the commercial and industrial construction sectors.

  • Proven experience working with subcontractors and managing quality control.

  • Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and legal regulations.

  • Excellent organizational and leadership skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Procore certification is a plus.

  • Experience with change orders and estimation.

  • Familiarity with HVAC systems and equipment.

  • Proficiency in construction software such as Procore.

Work Environment
