National Dentex CAD CAM II in Fenton, Missouri

Description

Join National Dentex - a leading healthcare organization specializing in the dental industry. We offer a full spectrum of specialized products, services, and technologies to address any dental restoration need. Currently, we have 50 labs throughout the country. Our team is growing, and we are hiring a number of key positions within our organization including this opportunity at NDX Keller in Fenton, MO for a full time CAD CAM II.

The regular hours for this position are from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday through Friday, and subject to change from time to time.

Primary Responsibilities and Essential Functions of the Position:

  • Read prescriptions and specifications received from dentist.

  • Design dental frameworks/restorations that provide the patient with the proper function and aesthetics.

  • Nest and Mill all Cad/Cam products

  • Maintain and operate the mills

  • Design implant abutments

  • It is the dental technician’s job to insure all steps are followed, in order, to insure consistent, accurate results.

  • Verify the scan is correct and materials have been entered in correctly.

  • Adjust settings accordingly to product types.

  • Read and review all paperwork on each case for correct information.

  • Keep cases organized so that everyone on the milling projects can work as a team.

  • Perform other duties as required and assigned.

  • All other duties as assigned.

Skills and Abilities Required:

  • Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English

  • .Must have basic computer skills

Minimum Education and Experience Required:

  • Required for CAD/CAM I, II, III: High school diploma or GED equivalent

  • CAD/CAM I: No experience required

  • CAD/CAM II: Must have 12 months of service or specified skills required for CAD/CAM Department or be a Recognized Graduate (RG) by National Board for Certification in Dental Laboratory Technology.

  • CAD/CAM III: Must have 5 years of experience or specified skills required for CAD/CAM Department or be a Recognized Graduate (RG) by National Board for Certification in Dental Laboratory Technology. (Note: A DLT I may be assigned to the CAD/DAM Department.)
