The sale of products and/or services by sales personnel that physically enter the showroom or are referred as a prospective customer. Inside sales professionals work as a team inside of a formal office setting. Some meetings and time working may be required to complete the sales and work seamlessly with other team members.
Inside Sales Representatives are tasked with closing significant transactions by meeting face to face, as well as by phone and email with potential or existing customers. They maintain connections between a variety of customers to consistently make sales. They identify potential customers, making cold calls, assessing customer needs, recommending products, closing sales, maintaining prospect databases, and reporting to managers.
Renewing or negotiating contract terms with current or previous customers. Scheduling appointments with clients and working around their schedule. Setting and meeting sales quotas every month.
You will work with current clients to encourage repeat business as well as meet with new and prospective clients to make additional sales. Inside sales representatives usually meet with clients in person. Other job duties include making presentations, sales pitches as well as resolving issues clients may have.
Due to the nature of the work, strong social and communication skills are a must followed by a strong desire for experience as a sales representative.

Qualifications for inside Sales Representative
Proven experience as a sales representative in the offroad industry preferred
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong customer service and rapport
Great persuasive and negotiation skills
Good interpersonal and presentation skills
Proficient in technology and dealing with equipment and software
Must be able to stand and walk for long hours at a time
An example of a week in the inside sales position:
Working at the main office showroom sales counter to answer incoming phone calls and walk in customers to service their requests. Answer questions on products and services related to the items/services the client is interested in. Contacting the scheduler at Unlimited Offroad to schedule services that have been sold. Verifying inventory of items to be installed on sold jobs. Creating work orders for specific jobs and getting approvals by customers. Completing the vehicle check in procedure and contacting customers throughout the project with updates at a minimum of every 3 days or at an interval requested by the client or manager. Contacting customer to make payments as necessary throughout the project and contacting the customer when the vehicle is completed and ready for pick up. Reviewing all closing paperwork/invoice with the customer and addressing all the services/upgrades by pointing them out on the vehicle in person.
