Production Planner
Job description
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Production Coordinator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and coordinating the production process to ensure timely delivery of high-quality products. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in production planning, supply chain management, and process improvement, with a focus on implementing lean manufacturing principles.
Duties:
1 -- Maintain the Daily production plan - Update the Production Plan daily - Generate LOs, print them and make them available to the production team in accordance with the defined sequence - Draw up the fixed launch schedule, ensure its distribution and its regular update - Attend the daily production meeting - Communicate with the customer logistics team to notify them of any change to the schedule and analyze the consequences - Modify the schedule based on different anomalies - Establish "Kanban loops", analyze their relevance and update at regular intervals - Check the entry into stock of end products (PF) and semi-finished (SF) products - Assess packaging requirements, identify insufficient quantities 2 -- Upgrade the information system - Create data specific to scheduling in the decision-aid tool (calendar, manufacturing deadline, batch size, etc.) - Define emergency stock and minimum stock - Update decision-aid tool data (batch size, Average Daily Consumption, change in quantity by UC, etc.), ensure reliability of this data - Update data specific to logistics in the information system - Monitor production schemes (assignment to unit, press/item, etc.) - Signal all anomalies detected in the technical data 3 -- Help to continuously improve logistics - Monitor Master Production Schedule progress/delay - Attend the daily Logistics performance meeting and update indicators - Help to analyze deviations and progress daily using problem-solving tools 4 - Manage supplies Guarantee logistical technical data (batch size, lead time, multiple supplies) and keep this data up-to-date. Analyze requirements, check the accuracy of elements produced by the information system, generate supply requests to suppliers. Ensure the availability of components purchased and subcontracted required by the manufacturing plan, and anticipate component and material interruptions. Communicate with suppliers. Follow up with suppliers in the event of late deliveries and report these late deliveries to his/her line manager and colleagues. Record incidents and issue demerit points.
Manage and optimize levels of stock within his/her scope (materials and POE) manage stocks optimize component stock levels based on min/max and consumption: analyze stocks (obsolete, dormant) and propose an action plan. Notify his/her planning colleague of all elements that may have an impact: extension of deadline, possible interruption.
