Health Advocates Network Special Education Teacher in Federal Way, Washington

Health Advocates Network is seeking a Special Education Teacher to work at a Facility in Federal Way, WA. This is a registry position with our company.

Pay Rate: $55 / hour

*W2

Shifts Details:

  • 8am-4pm

  • Mon, Tue, Wed, Thu., Fri.

  • Contract Weeks: 42

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate special education teacher to join our team in Washington state. As a special education teacher, you will be responsible for providing individualized instruction and support to students with disabilities in order to help them reach their full potential.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with disabilities

  • Provide direct instruction in a variety of subjects, tailored to the unique needs of each student

  • Collaborate with other teachers, parents, and support staff to ensure the success of each student

  • Monitor student progress and make adjustments to instruction as needed

  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in special education or a related field

  • Valid teaching certificate in special education

  • Experience working with students with disabilities

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills

  • Knowledge of special education laws and regulations in Washington state
