The ideal candidate will have a passion for art, design, and creativity, along with excellent customer service skills. This is a dynamic role that requires a combination of sales expertise, product knowledge, and a strong commitment to providing an exceptional customer experience.

Responsibilities:

• Greet and assist customers in a friendly and helpful manner, providing guidance and recommendations based on their needs and preferences.
• Maintain a deep understanding of our services, products including custom prints, and effectively show and sell the event space..
• Actively engage with customers to build relationships and foster a positive shopping experience.
• Process transactions accurately and efficiently using our point-of-sale system.
• Maintain a visually appealing and organized sales floor, ensuring that products are properly displayed and stocked.
• Collaborate with the creative team to curate and showcase new merchandise and displays.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, market competition, and new product releases.
• Assist with inventory management, including receiving shipments, restocking shelves, and conducting regular stock checks.
• Handle customer inquiries, requests, and complaints in a professional and timely manner, striving for customer satisfaction.
• Contribute to achieving sales targets and goals through proactive selling and up-selling techniques.
• Collaborate with the team to achieve overall studio goals and objectives.

Requirements:

• Previous retail sales experience, preferably within the art, design, or creative industry.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage and connect with a diverse range of customers.
• Passion for art, design, and creativity, with a keen eye for aesthetics.
• Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
• Knowledge of various art mediums, techniques, and materials is a plus.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multitask, and prioritize effectively.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to handle customer concerns with empathy and professionalism.
• Flexibility to workweekendsand some evenings, as required.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with point-of-sale systems.
