We are looking for a proactive and experienced IT Manager to lead our technical teams, ensuring smooth operations, efficient project execution, and top-tier technical support across multiple office locations. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on leader, providing direct technical guidance and serving as an escalation point for complex issues. You will manage a team of 30-50 technicians, ensuring seamless IT operations while maintaining a focus on optimizing technology and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Team Leadership & Support:

  • Manage a distributed team of 30-50 IT technicians across various U.S. offices, offering hands-on leadership and mentorship.

  • Serve as the escalation point for unresolved technical issues, leveraging your own technical expertise to resolve them.

  • Foster a positive, results-driven team culture, emphasizing personal accountability, continuous learning, and growth.

  • Operational & Technical Optimization:

  • Act as a key liaison between IT and operational teams to ensure smooth communication and collaboration.

  • Continuously evaluate and improve technical processes to boost operational efficiency.

  • Partner with leadership to identify and recommend new technologies that align with business goals.

  • Project Management:

  • Lead multiple IT projects, ensuring they meet deadlines, budgets, and performance goals.

  • Provide clear and actionable direction to the team, ensuring effective project execution.

  • Efficiently allocate resources and adjust plans as needed to accommodate shifting business needs.

  • Crisis Management:

  • Take charge during technical emergencies, resolving issues swiftly to minimize downtime.

  • Be available to lead and support teams during off-hours when emergencies arise.

  • Collaboration & Reporting:

  • Work closely with senior leadership and participate in strategic meetings to provide insights on IT performance and technical direction.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure technology initiatives support business objectives.

  • Establish and track key performance metrics, ensuring the IT team delivers consistent results.

Key Qualifications:

  • Proven experience managing teams of 30-50 technicians across multiple locations.

  • Strong technical background in network, systems, or software engineering, with hands-on experience in troubleshooting and system management.

  • Demonstrated ability to lead teams through technical challenges, providing both strategic direction and technical escalation support.

  • Experience managing complex technical projects and ensuring timely, accurate completion.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments and with customers.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, adapting quickly to emergencies or changes in priorities.

  • Strong leadership and mentorship abilities, with a focus on building high-performing teams.

  • Willingness to work non-standard hours when necessary, particularly during crises or critical issues.

Preferred Experience:

  • Experience working in a fast-growing company.

  • Familiarity with industry-standard IT performance metrics.

  • Experience working closely with C-level executives and cross-functional teams.
