The Opportunity
Delaware North Gaming is hiring trained a full-time Paramedic to join our team at Finger Lakes Gaming in Farmington, New York. As a Paramedic, you will be performing direct illness and injury assessment, preparing individuals for transport, and transfer information to receiving ambulance company.
Shift March-November: Tuesday-Saturday
Tuesday & Wednesday (5:45am-5:00pm) & Thursday-Saturday (5:45am-11:00am)
Shift December-March Shift: TBD
Pay
$32.00 - $32.00 / hour

Responsibilities
Perform interventions with basic and advanced equipment typically found on an ambulance
Follow safety, environmental, and infection control standards, inspecting emergency medical equipment to ensure service ability and compliance with safety and infection control regulations and standards
Complete and transfer patient care information and records, complete paperwork and reports required by State and Federal regulations, and follow all HIPAA regulations
Drive company vehicles, both standard and automatic transmission, for the purpose of patrolling grounds
Qualifications
Must be 18 years of age or older
Possesses the complex knowledge and skills necessary to provide patient care and transportation
Successful completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Paramedic program, or a program that has a CAAHEP "Letter of Review", within the past two years
Ability to obtain the relevant state gaming license
Must have a valid driver’s license, pass an MVR check, and take a drug test.
Physical Requirements
Standing, walking up and down stairs, sitting, bending, reaching, and repetitive motions for the duration of shift
Appropriate visual and hearing perception
