Position Summary:

The Advanced Systems Analyst is accountable to administer, test and update asset inventory using PI, SAP and data mapping tools. Coordinates changes, identifies inaccuracies, investigates, and resolves performance issues pertaining to pipeline operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inventory, itemize, and ensure all operational assets are in SAP and data points are pointed to and reading correctly in PI.

  • Create interactive dashboards and reports that provide insights into operations.

  • Streamline data visualizations, ensuring that data is presented in a format that is easy to understand.

  • Train operations in the use of PI, assisting with trouble shooting.

  • Work with mechanical reliability to assist with tracking trends of premature failures.

  • Works as a liaison with the control room, IT and controls groups.

  • Travel up to 25%

    Skills:

  • Strong computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, PI, SAP and GIS.

  • Strong communication, organization, analytical and problem-solving skills required.

    Minimum Qualifications & Experience:

  • 5+ years of applicable experience

  • Self-motivated and the ability to work with minimal supervision.

  • Relevant operational knowledge and/or experience in the supported area including operational processes and procedures.

  • Must possess a valid Driver's License.

  • HS Diploma required
