Consumer Lending Strategy Program Manager The Consumer Lending Strategy Program Manager is responsible for the development, analysis, design, and execution of transformational solutions to drive growth, improved customer experiences, create new levels of business capabilities and operational effectiveness for the consumer lending line of business. This individual provides strategic guidance on future direction of the consumer lending product offerings, sales strategy, delivery channels and technology framework to align with industry trends and business objectives. Position Responsibilities: Strategic Project Management * Manages strategic projects to implement new program, process and technology capabilities to support new levels of business performance. * Develop and execute on comprehensive project plans and initiative prioritization. * Work closely with project sponsors, cross-functional teams, and assigned project managers to plan and develop scope, deliverables, required resources, work plan, budget, and timing for new initiatives. * Develop and lead business requirements, testing plans, stakeholder engagement, communication and training strategies, and evaluation of results. * Manages key vendor relationships for consumer lending orgination and servicing providers. * Serve as the first escalation point for program/project issues and risks. * Work directly with internal teams to resolve issues and create risk mitigation plans. * Effectively communicate business and technology issues and solutions. * Foster positive, professional and productive relationships with internal and external partners. Strategic Planning * Transform and grow the end-to-end consumer lending program and evolution of the business model through new channel and product strategies, sales model enhancements, process automation, increased digital capabilities and improved customer experiences. * Develop and execute a comprehensive strategic roadmap, project plans and program oversight according to leadership expectations and objectives. * Conducts research and is knowledgable regarding current consumer lending industry trends and evolving customer preferences that influence the strategic roadmap. * Develop and present high quality and prudent recommendations to senior leadership and stakeholders to gain support for and approval of consumer lending initiatives. Innovation Management * Develop innovative solutions to solve critical business problems or to meet priority business objectives (e.g. reduce costs, improve productivity, reduce risk, support communications initiatives). * Manage the innovation pipeline, including an idea bank and concept management. * Leverage advanced problem solving skills, techniques and tools to address root cause of issues and develop appropriate solutions. * Engages vendors and consultants to explore and evaluate innovation solutions. Business Case and Financial Management * Manages the development of business cases for new funding requests, including reviewing for consistency of expenses and business benefits calculations. * Provides planning and forecasting support for consumer lending projects.
