The Benefit Specialist works as a part of the Benefits Service Team, responsibilities include but, are not limited to the following: · Utilize the HR Work Order System (ServiceNow) to handle and resolve a high volume of employee benefit related cases, ensuring timely and accurate resolution. · Monitor ongoing cases, provide updates to employees, and ensure closure with satisfaction. · Work closely with various benefits vendors to address and resolve issues faced by employees, including troubleshooting and issue escalation as needed. · Actively engage in and contribute to Benefits Information Sessions to provide employees with up-to-date information and answer questions. · Create or assist in the creation of educational materials and resources to help employees understand their benefits options. · Conduct thorough testing during Annual Enrollment periods to ensure system accuracy, data integrity, and proper implementation of benefit changes. · Identify and resolve issues that arise during the enrollment process, working closely with IT and other departments as necessary. · Assist in the maintenance and updating of Enterprise HRIS benefits tables to reflect accurate and current benefits information. · Regularly review and verify data within the HRIS to ensure accuracy and consistency. · Handle adjustments and corrections to colleague records related to benefit deductions, ensuring accurate payroll and benefits administration. · Conduct regular audits to ensure benefit deductions and records are accurate and up to date. · Provide guidance and support to HR Business Partners and Managers regarding the timeliness and accuracy of employee data edits and benefits related processes. Education · Associate’s degree, advanced training, or equivalent related work experience. Experience · Minimum 4 years work experience in benefits administration required. · High level of competency in MS Office, particularly Excel. · Enterprise systems application experience.
