Position: Assistant Project Manager - Manager Location: Farmington, CT Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate on setting project objectives, performance requirements, and selecting project participants.
  • Ensure comprehensive understanding of project plans, specifications, and scope of work.
  • Work closely with the project team to maximize the efficiency of labor, materials, and equipment.
  • Develop effective communication strategies and resolve conflicts among stakeholders.
  • Oversee the entire construction project lifecycle, from initiation to completion.
  • Manage project documentation including submittals, RFIs, and meeting minutes.
  • Handle project accounting functions such as budget management, cost tracking, and risk mitigation.
  • Prepare financial reports accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Negotiate contracts, procure materials, and manage subcontractors efficiently.
  • Create, implement, and manage project schedules to ensure timely completion.
  • Maintain adherence to safety standards and conduct regular construction site inspections.
  • Manage all phases of construction projects from planning to completion.
  • Coordinate resources, including labor, materials, and equipment.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules and budgets.
  • Ensure compliance with project plans, specifications, and safety standards.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, subcontractors, and project teams.
  • Oversee project documentation, contracts, change orders, and progress reports.
  • Resolve project issues promptly and proactively.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.
  • 1-3 years of relevant experience.
  • Foster strongrelationships and represent All State Construction professionally in meetings.
  • Collaborate effectively with the project team, promoting a cohesive project environment.
  • Knowledge of construction processes, methods, and materials.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Commitment to safety, quality, and client satisfaction.
