Description

We are seeking an Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team in the Healthcare industry. Located in New Britain, Connecticut, this role offers a short-term contract employment opportunity. As the Accounts Payable Clerk, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks related to maintaining the accounts payable records of the organization.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately process and reconcile accounts payable

• Handle check runs and ensure all payments are made in a timely manner

• Code invoices accurately to ensure they are allocated to the correct account

• Enter all accounts payable data into the system with precision

• Process invoices efficiently to ensure all payments are made on time

• Utilize Microsoft Excel for various tasks related to accounts payable

• Maintain accurate records of all accounts payable data for future reference.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Account Reconciliation and Accounts Payable (AP)

• Experience with Check Runs and Coding Invoices

• Strong Data Entry skills

• Familiarity with Invoice Processing

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and ERP Systems

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

• Excellent problem-solving skills

• Attention to detail and high level of accuracy

• Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information

• Proven ability to meet deadlines

• Prior experience in a Healthcare, Hospitals, or Social Assistance setting is a plus
