Job Title: Press Brake Machine Set Up Operator
Job Description
As a Press Brake Machine Set Up Operator, you will be responsible for operating the Amanda Press Brake, fabricating sheet metal following correct sequencing, and ensuring the final product meets quality standards. You will also perform changeovers of tools and dies, use various measuring tools, and follow safety protocols.
Responsibilities
Operate Amanda Press Brake
Follow correct sequencing for fabricating sheet metal
Identify correct gauges and stock from blueprints
Read angles and send finished product to Quality Control
Perform changeovers of tools and dies
Operate controller to change settings based on stock
Identify different gauges of metal
Use calipers, micrometers, and other measuring tools
Read and interpret blueprints and schematics
Lift up to 75lbs
Follow safety protocols
Essential Skills
Experience operating a press brake
Ability to read and interpret blueprints
Knowledge of sheet metal fabrication
Experience with machine operation and set up
Proficiency in using calipers, micrometers, and other measuring tools
Understanding of safety precautions and production equipment
Additional Skills & Qualifications
1 year of experience as a press brake set up operator
Experience with sequencing of fabrication
Knowledge of hand tools

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Farmingdale, New York.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $25.00/hr.
