Renewal by Andersen was founded with the objective of creating a different and better window and door replacement experience for homeowners.

We're expanding and seeking a payroll assistant to manage expense reimbursement, ensuring accuracy and compliance. Responsibilities include processing weekly reimbursements promptly, reconciling discrepancies, reviewing expense reports for policy adherence, communicating with team members for missing information, addressing inquiries, assisting with payroll tasks like audits and commissions, coordinating document preparation with the payroll team, generating necessary reports, maintaining confidentiality, and providing support as required.

Primary Responsibilities:

Processes the full cycle of expense reimbursement and supports the Payroll Department including but not limited to:

-Ensure weekly expense reimbursement is processed properly and timely.

-Investigate and reconcile expense reimbursement report discrepancies.

-Reviews expense reports and monitors compliance with internal policies.

-Communicate with team members on missing information to support reimbursement.

-Respond to inquiries related to expense processes and policies.

-Assist the payroll team on a wide variety of tasks including time and attendance audits, commission payment, payroll processing, etc.

-Coordinate with payroll to prepare all documents and calculations timely.

-Prepare various reports as needed.

-Maintain confidentiality of payroll and reimbursement related information. 

-Conducts or assists with new hire orientation.

-Assists with planning and execution of special events such as benefits enrollment, organization-wide meetings, employee recognition events, holiday parties, and retirement celebrations.

-Perform assigned duties as needed to support the Payroll Department

Qualifications:

-High school diploma or equivalent, preferred

-2-3 years of prior experience in payroll or a similar role is a plus

-Familiarity with ADP, preferred.

-Proficiency in Microsoft Suites (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)

-Strong attention to detail

-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

-Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information

-Strong organizational and time management skills

-Team player with a willingness to assist colleagues as needed

-Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

Compensation and Benefits:

-$23-$25/hour

Schedule:

  • Onsite in our Farmingdale office

  • Monday-Friday; 9:00am-5:30pm
