Local aerospace client is seeking a conventional/manual machinist to join their team. This position offers great opportunity for a well maintained shop environment position and benefits including PTO, 401K and more. This is a 1st shift position 8a-4:30p and pay range $25-$35/hr. Responsibilities

• Set up and operate conventional machine shop equipment

• Fabrication of parts using general machine shop equipment

• Interpretation of blueprints and sketches to determine dimensions and tolerances of finished work and setup requirements

• Able to machine +/- .0005 to +/- .001

• Set up of shop equipment

• Verifies conformance of parts to specs using precision measuring equipment

The essential functions of this role include:

• wearing steel toe shoes

• working up to 5 hrs of overtime per week
