A Large Company in Farmingdale, NY is hiring an Administrative Assistant for their Wholesale Division! The ideal candidate will work closely with outside sales representatives, assisting with new and existing accounts. This position involves creating proposals, providing top-tier customer service, and ensuring the accurate processing of orders. You will work with builders, contractors, landlords, and management companies in the tri-state area, coordinating appliance and electronics sales and deliveries. We are seeking candidates with at least 1 year of Administrative/Office experience with working knowledge of Microsoft Excel. work hours: 8:30 AM - 5 PM

Responsibilities

  • Assist outside sales staff by creating proposals using Excel spreadsheets.

  • Obtain and print product specification sheets from manufacturers' websites.

  • Provide exceptional customer service over the phone to both new and existing accounts.

  • Accurately enter customer orders into the point-of-sale system.

  • Track orders through completion, ensuring successful and timely delivery.

  • Answer incoming calls from account holders placing orders and resolve any inquiries.

  • Maintain a high level of attention to detail to ensure data accuracy and order fulfillment.
