System One Business Systems Analyst Associate in Farmers Branch, Texas

Job Title : Business Systems Analyst

Job Location: Pittsburgh or Dallas

Job Duration: 6 Months CTH

Job Summary:

The main function is to analyze science, engineering, business and all other data processing problems for application to electronic data processing systems. A typical business systems analyst is responsible for analyzing user requirements, procedures and problems to automate or improve existing systems and review computer system capabilities, workflow and scheduling limitations.

Job Responsibilities:

• Gather requirements from business units and translate those to programmers and developers.

• Prepare cost-benefit and return-on-investment analyses to aid in decisions on system implementation.

• Confer with clients regarding the nature of the information processing or computation needs.

• Coordinate and link the computer systems within an organization to increase compatibility and so information can be shared.

Required Skills:

• Verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, attention to detail and interpersonal skills.

• Basic ability to work independently and manage ones time.

• Basic knowledge of design techniques and principles involved in production of drawings and models.

• Basic knowledge of computer software, such as Visual Basic, Java, SQL, etc.

Education/Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering or related field required or equivalent work experience required. MBA or other related advanced degree preferred.

• 0-3 years experience required.

Key responsibilities:

• Act as business system analyst to write functional requirements for complex lending workflows.

• Apply communication best practices in vulnerability management and incident response as it relates to stakeholders, action plans, escalation, and metrics.

• Technical writer, Will author artifacts of highest quality be including API documentation.

• Act as a Scrum master and perform duties of managing all agile ceremonies.

• Interface with QE team to assist with test case preparation.

Must have technical skills/experience (ask for alternative/tool/version):

• Flowable/ Camunda or any other BPM tool

• CompTIA CYSA or related security certification

• Technical Writer experience

• Scrum Master Certified

Flex Skills:

• PostMan API

• Selenium

Soft skills that would make a candidate successful in this role:

• Excellent Communicator

• Excellent Document authoring skills
