The Work You'll Do

The Talent & Program Mgmt. Manager role supports the design and implementation of the firm's highest talent priorities. This role will be aligned to projects where you will be the data strategist and leader to help build, shape and execute initiatives that drive continued evolution of the firm and our workforce.

While efforts will primarily focus on advancing the Deloitte firm-wide skills strategy, deployment to other strategic workforce initiatives in the future is also possible.

You will manage large data sets and structures and design strategies to support broad use of data across the firm. This role will curate and oversee development of data visualizations through dashboards and other tools. You will collaborate with reporting and analytics teams to improve data accessibility, organizational reporting and decision-making. Additionally, you will lead governance and data structure efforts and establish guidelines for data use at both a firm and business level.

The ideal candidate has a consultative mindset, deep experience and passion for navigating complexity and workforce data. You will have experience developing effective data strategy and governance approaches to drive major transformations and/or organization cultural shifts. You will apply a thorough understanding of human centered design to help inform how the firm impacts its talent and data philosophies. And you will operate autonomously, be extremely proactive in driving results, and have experience working with and influencing executive teams and leaders.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Build meaningful relationships across the Talent Channel and Businesses to drive strategy awareness, incorporate stakeholder input and understand data needs

  • Define and create visual representations and data structures to make complex data digestible, understandable and accessible for stakeholders

  • Design and manage governance approaches in alignment with firmwide guidelines and policies

  • Drive data analysis and exploration with complex data sets to identify patterns, relationships, and trends

  • Develop and execute strategies to resolve data complexities - data consolidation, data maintenance, tagging strategy, etc.

  • Create insightful, logically structured presentations to communicate data management approach

  • Manage, coach, and support the success of junior team members both formally and informally

  • Provide project management expertise

  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned

    Qualifications Required:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience

  • 7+ years experience in a Business Strategy, Talent Business Advisor or Business Intelligence role OR in-depth knowledge and experience with change/transformation initiatives Data Science

  • 4+ years experience working with large data sets, data strategy development, stakeholder engagement skills, building networks, working collaborative across teams

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future

  • Ability to travel 0-5%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve

    Preferred:

  • Demonstrated ability to thrive in a dynamic, complex, and matrixed organization

  • Demonstrated ability work and alongside AI tools and analysis to drive outcomes with human intervention

  • Calm under pressure and ability to pivot with unexpected challenges

  • Strong communications and PowerPoint skills, including an ability to articulate complex messages in clear/concise ways to a variety of audiences/stakeholders

  • Demonstrated ability to build strong peer relationships across the Deloitte network

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $102,500-$188,900.

You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
