Northrop Grumman Corporate Home Office is currently seeking a Principal Regulatory Compliance Analyst to join our growing team of diverse professionals at the Northrop Grumman Corporate Home Office in Falls Church, VA. The selected candidate will become a part of the Corporate Government Compliance team.

This position will report to the Corporate Manager of Government Compliance and will support continued adequacy of business systems and disclosure statements as well compliance to government regulations and Northrop Grumman policies and procedures. This high impact and high visibility role will work closely with various Corporate Home Office and Chief Information Office functions as well as the various Sector Government Compliance teams.

Position responsibilities and duties include:

  • Develop, implement, and sustain the Corporate Accounting System Self-Assessment program

  • Research, develop positions, and develop responses to Defense Contract Audit Agency (DCAA) and Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA) RFIs

  • Analyze cost accounting practice changes and develop General Dollar Magnitude (GDM) cost impact models

  • Develop Three Factor Formula (3FF) models to be used for Incurred Cost and Forward Pricing Rate Proposal submissions

  • Identify, recommend, and implement process improvement measures

Basic Qualifications:

  • Must have one of the following:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, economics, or related field with a minimum of 6 years of relevant work experience

  • Master's degree in accounting, finance, economics, or related field with a minimum of 4 years of relevant work experience

  • Familiarity with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and Cost Accounting Standards (CAS)

  • Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and SAP proficiency

  • The ability to work on-site in Falls Church, Virginia

  • The ability to travel as needed (up to 10% of the time)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong demonstrated knowledge FAR and CAS and research experience

  • Self-motivated, yet functions well in a team environment

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

  • Experience communicating with executives

  • Prior experience in the Aerospace & Defense industry in Government Compliance, Rates and Budgets, or Program Finance roles

  • Strong project management skills

  • Experience with Analysis for Office and Planning Analytics

Salary Range: $88,700 - $133,100

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
