ManTech Systems Administrator in Falls Church, Virginia

Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Principal Information Services Systems Administrator to join our team in Alexandria/ Falls Church, VA . This is a HYBRID position supporting the US government. Regular weekly schedule includes 2 days working onsite (Wednesdays mandatory) and 3 days working remote.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Top-level technical expert supporting unlimited end user groups.

  • Works with user groups to solve business problems with available technology including hardware, software, databases, and peripherals.

  • Requires high level of diverse technical experience related to studying and analyzing systems needs, systems development, systems process analysis, design, and re-engineering.

  • Has skills and experience related to business management, systems engineering, operations research, and management engineering.

  • Typically requires specialization in particular software or business application utilized in an end user environment.

  • Keeps abreast of technological developments and applications.

  • Read, analyze, and interpret business requirements, system documentation, and technical procedures.

  • Performs daily system health checks

  • Identifies and captures relevant information, integrates data from different sources, and identifies root cause of problems.

  • Design and build ServiceNow platform and SecOps and Asset Management capabilities to meet mission needs.

  • Support operations and provide Tier 2-3 support for prevalent ServiceNow modules.

  • Design and build more detailed ServiceNow reporting for customer use cases.

  • Conduct appropriate analysis and ensure calls that are unable to be resolved are appropriately forwarded to escalated product support.

  • Provide expert product capabilities and design input into solution design, build, and test activities and documentation.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of professional experience in information technology or a directly related field.

  • 1+ years of demonstrated in Cohesity and/or Nutanix

  • A bachelor’s degree in computer science, or related field

  • Working knowledge of database functionality and optimization

  • Strong analytical skills to enable effective troubleshooting

  • Experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux and Windows Server 2012/2016

  • Knowledge of Service Now APIs

  • Knowledge of integrated security system architecture

  • Core competency of network design concepts and operation

  • Requires ServiceNow, Certified System Administrator (CSA)

  • ServiceNow, Certified Implementation Specialist: ITSM is required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in information technology management or equivalent

Clearance Requirements:

  • Must be a U.S. citizen.

  • Must be able to obtain a Public Trust clearance

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to be in a stationary position more than 50% of the time.

  • Must be able to communicate, converse, and exchange information with peers and senior personnel.

  • Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery.

  • The person in this position frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.

  • The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.

The projected compensation range for this position is $73,500-$122,600. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories.
