Amentum Cleared Data Center Technician in Falls Church, Virginia

Amentum is looking for Data Center Technicians to join our expanding Infrastructure Operations team. The position will help ensure overall availability and reliability to meet or exceed defined service levels of data center operations for government customers. This position involves hardware and network diagnostics followed by physical repair. includes participation in an rotating schedule.

As a Data Center Technician, you are a primary resolver for your support team, and are skilled at troubleshooting hardware-based problems. You are able to troubleshoot and solve a range of datacenter infrastructure issues including, but not limited to: hardware, fiber, networking, and other related problems.

The Site locations include Northern Virginia/Washington Metro Area, with some interest for potential paid travel to Columbus, Ohio, Phoenix, Arizona, Aurora, Colorado, and San Antonio, Texas.

Minimum Data Center Tech qualifications including:

  • Current, active US Government Security Clearance of Top Secret or above

  • Associate’s degree or higher in IT-related field or equivalent professional or military experience

  • 2+ year of Computer Hardware experience.

  • 2+ year of experience with technical troubleshooting and remediation.

  • Ability to work on a rotating 'Panama" schedule

Available shifts:

  • Day/Overnight Shift available or rotating Panama Schedule

Additional task/job specific training will be provided.
