Continental Service Group Marketing & Proposal Specialist in Fairport, New York

This is a hybrid position. You must be able to work onsite in the Fairport office and work from home.

Position Summary:

The Marketing and Proposal Specialist works closely with Marketing team members and contributes to the overall success of ConServe's marketing strategy for the business to drive new business and placement through ConServe's Value Proposition, Distribution and Target marketing.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Oversees and organizes the preparation of public proposals and presentations using marketing resource materials such as "master" proposal records, brochures, data, slides, photographs, and reports.
  • Administrator for Proposal Software (Rocketdocs) and project manages response updates from internal subject matter experts.
  • Sales conference management to ensure all conference registration, sponsorship, coordination, preparation and follow-up is completed and related expenses tracked.
  • Coordinates and assists with the marketing activities of a service or business line which may include email marketing, advertising, direct mailing, printing, customer events, and trade shows.
  • Develops, creates, implements, and oversees communications programs effectively describing and promoting the Company and its products through graphics, brochures, company or servicer product fact sheets, logos, or other promotional products to ensure ConServe's value proposition is communicated consistently and is compelling.
  • Develops and lead social media presence and direct programs to improve social media reputation and recognition.
  • Assistant Administrator for CRM Platform.
  • Manage Client programs, including annual surveys, Million$Club, and milestone Anniversary Program.
  • Adherence to ConServe's Blueprint Quality Management System, Code of Conduct, and Compliance Program

Non-Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Other duties as assigned.

Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Skills/ Requirements:

  • Two (2) years of Marketing experience.
  • Understand standard marketing concepts, practices, and procedures.
  • Rely on extensive experience and judgment to plan and strategize to ensure deadlines for time-sensitive projects are completed on schedule.
  • Prior proposal writing experience preferred.
  • Familiar with the public bid process.
  • Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Perform a variety of time sensitive tasks.
  • Ability to travel up to 20%.
  • Ability to travel between ConServe's offices as needed.
  • Exhibit a wide degree of creativity and latitude.
  • Computer literacy in word processing and presentation programs such as MS PowerPoint and Excel, e-mail, CRM, and recordkeeping programs.
  • Able to act independently to resolve problems.
  • Motivated to continuously learn and develop their skills.
  • Positive and team-oriented attitude.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain Government Security Clearance.
  • No conflicts of interest with ConServe or our Clients.

  • Occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
  • Ability to sit or remain sedentary for up to 8 hours per day, except for periodic breaks pursuant to applicable law.
  • Ability to talk and listen on a phone or in person for up to 8 hours per day
  • Ability to type on a computer for extended periods.
  • Ability to stand up to 8 hours per day except for periodic breaks pursuant to applicable law.
  • Ability to drive and fly.
