About the Opportunity
This is an open position with FirstEnergy Service Company, a subsidiary of FirstEnergy Corp [FEU].
This position is responsible for Assisting Distribution Operations with the management of their capital portfolio.
Preparing, publishing and/or distributing reports as needed.
Supporting systems and process improvements for First Energy Utility Operations.
Promoting safety and safe work practices.
Providing storm support including off hours, weekends and holidays.
Supporting role to management and professionals following well-defined practices
Providing a consistent level of service, continuous support and proactive involvement to leadership and peers.
Supporting Utility Operations in reaching goals and meeting deadlines.
Initial participation in the development of programs and policies.
Recommending and developing solutions to moderately complex issues and assignments.
Supporting process improvement activities through collaboration with other Engineering departments and corporate departments; developing process improvements and efficiencies to improve functions.
Two or four year degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Engineering or a related discipline preferred, with a minimum 0-2 years professional work experience.
In lieu of a degree, a minimum of 2 years of direct, related experience will be considered.
