Family Preservation Case Manager is needed at Human Services of Faribault & Martin Counties! This position is full time with excellent benefits. The Family Preservation Worker will be part of the public service team at Human Services of Faribault & Martin Counties! You will be a part of skilled, caring and knowledgeable health and human services professionals whose talents and contributions promote, strengthen and protect individuals, families and communities in Faribault and Martin Counties every day! We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate candidate to engage families involved in child protection, ensuring the safety, permanency, and well-being of children. The ideal candidate will develop and monitor case plans, collaborate with families, and complete necessary documentation to meet State Department/Agency regulations. Your duties will include meeting with families, providing support, conducting assessments, and processing thorough documentation. You will also participate in meetings and training, educate the community about neglect and abuse, maintain professional relationships, coworkers, and ensure compliance with relevant laws and policies. Effective communication, respect for clients, and adherence to privacy rules are key aspects of this role. Candidates will thrive in a fast paced and ever-changing work environment and will hone their interviewing, assessment, and rapport-building skills. Minimum Qualifications: A bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college or university with a major in social work, psychology, sociology or closely related field. OR A bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college or university with a major in any field and one year of experience as a social worker in a public or private social services agency.
