Signature Swine Batch Farrow Technician Work as part of a team caring for sows from breeding through farrowing, and piglets from birth through weaning. Must be a motivated individual that can work efficiently as a team member and on your own with minimal guidance. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: - Daily Chores - Vaccinations - Power Washing - Loading and moving sows and piglets - Breeding - Litter Processing - Herd Management: recordkeeping, health assessments, animal flow - Site Management: maintenance and housekeeping Our job is unique in the fact that we pay salary. During batch week, your days may be a little longer. During slow weeks you get additional days off and when the work is complete you can leave.
