UC HEALTH LLC House Supervisor, Nursing Administration, Part Time, Nights in Fairfield, Ohio
UC Health is hiring a Part Time within Nursing Administration for the Night Shift at West Chester Hospital. The House Supervisor will support West Chester Hospital and Level III Trauma Center, delivering high-quality care to patients based on assessed needs, established standards of care and according to policy and procedures. The House Supervisor is responsible for facilitating patient flow throughout the facility. He/she provides administrative direction for assigned nursing personnel. He/she is responsible for coordinating daily staffing in collaboration with the Clinical Managers and Clinical Directors. The House Supervisor is the acting administrative representative for decision making on weekends, holidays and after hours, in collaboration with the designated On-call Administrator. - Graduate from an accredited school of nursing
- Associate's Degree, minimum required
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing, preferred
- Current OH RN License
- Minimum Required: 3-5 years equivalent experience.
- Preferred: 6-10 years equivalent experience.
- Membership in a professional organization is desirable, but not required.
- BCLS required prior to patient contact.
- ACLS, telemetry certification required.
- Certification(s) specific to rehabilitation, medical/surgical, orthopedic, critical care or gerontological nursing desired.
Required Skills and Knowledge: Experience in a university hospital environment preferred; ability to utilize sound management principles, ability to accept and implement change; able to foster professional and inter-professional relationships; fosters effective guest relations skills; ability to work flexible hours.
