Fairfield University Assistant or Associate Professor of Accounting in Fairfield, Connecticut

Job Description:

Fairfield University’s Accounting Department invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant or Associate Professor in the Dolan School of Business to begin Fall 2025, pending budget approval. Qualified individuals in all specialty areas of accounting will be considered; preference will be given to those with an ability to teach in multiple areas. Candidates must have or be near completion of a doctoral degree. Professional certification in accounting is required . Candidates must have a strong commitment to teaching and innovation, and demonstrate excellence using technology in the classroom, conducting scholarly research, and pursuing service to the department, school and university. The appointment requires flexibility in teaching day, evening, and weekend courses at the undergraduate and graduate levels, with opportunities to teach during multiple terms throughout the year and at the Fairfield and/or Bridgeport campus.
